Patricia Hehn was honored by PWSCSC at the Town of North Hempstead’s Senior Recognition Luncheon at Leonard’s Palazzo in Great Neck

On Wednesday, the 22nd we gathered at Leonard’s to celebrate our Member, Patricia Hehn for her volunteer leadership and help at PWSCSC. Pat was among 24 outstanding Seniors Recognized by the Town of North Hempstead for their Volunteerism. Pat is retired Nurse, who worked with newborns and premature babies at North Shore Manhasset Hospital. She is a 43 year resident of Port Washington. Pat was nominated for recognition of her service to the Center as a leader of crafts projects and other Center activities. Her help and guidance across all cultural and language barriers has encouraged the creation of a knitting group at the Center. Pat creates many of the awards and prizes given at the Center for milestones and accomplishments.
