A Fabulous Night at NYC Museum For Some Local Kids

Guggenheim Elementary School kids spend night in Manhattan.

Who wouldn’t want to spend the night at The American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan sleeping under the big blue whale?

Thanks to some industrious and creative local teachers: Erica Goldsmith, Natalie Miller, Mariann Dragunas and Virginia McMahon and funding provided by the Port Washington Education Foundation, the trip became a reality for 50 students from Guggenheim Elementary School.

The goal of the event was to highlight studies of the world — especially the sciences, according to event organizers.
