ABC's "Scandal" premiered Thursday at 10 p.m. The show is based on a crisis management team, is based on an actual crisis manager, Judy Smith, whose cases have included Michael Vick and the BP oil spill, according to NPR.
The show also stars Kerry Washington, Henry Ian Cusick, and of course, graduate .
The Atlantic Journal Constitution calls it a juicy political soap. Huffington Post called it “ripe with plenty of political intrigue” with a “truly stellar cast.” And The Wall Street Journal called it "a fun, fast ride, with lots of twists and turns, murder and menace."
