United States Power Squadrons' Seminar

What should an inexperienced crew member do in a boating emergency?  To find out, attend a seminar being offered by United States Power Squadrons.

The 2-hour seminar, Partner in Command, covers the why and how of calling for help, first aid, starting and running the engine, marine radio, and more.  It provides an introduction to boating for crew members who need basic information and who may or may not have taken a boating course.  It is designed to provide essential information for assisting a skipper in the safe operation of a recreational boat, including actions in response to emergencies.

The seminar will take place on July 14, 7:30 PM, at the Port Washington Yacht Club., and includes a text.  Fee is $50.00.  For further information or to register for this seminar email rfschreit@aol.com or call (516) 625-0347.
