This Saturday: Butterflies at Sands Point Preserve

We are very excited at Sands Point Preserve, where larvae will soon become butterflies. Each day we are taking note of their transformation.

Join us Saturday, May 10, either from 11 a.m.-12 p.m or 12-1 p.m. to discover more about butterflies.

There is so much to learn about these tiny, most delicate creatures. We will look at each part of its body, how and what it eats, and how it moves and survives, including its magnificent transformation from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly.

The first 30 families that sign up may bring home a chrysalis provided by the instructor.
