Friends of the Sands Point Preserve presents the Dicapo Opera Theatre in And the Merry Widow Waltzed on October 19, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.

An Arts Alive LI Signature Event, And The Merry Widow Waltzed takes the audience on a musical journey through the history of American Musical Theater, beginning with Franz Lehár’s operetta The Merry Widow (1905), through Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music (1973). It includes selections from Naughty Marietta, Show Boat, Of Thee I Sing, Kismet, The Most Happy Fella, West Side Story, and more for a completely enjoyable evening in celebration of our musical heritage.

Tickets are $125 per person and include the performance, signature cocktails, dinner, and an extraordinary dessert buffet prepared by Philip Stone Caterer. Seating is limited, and reservations are required.
