UPDATE: Snow Cancellations in Port

The following events have been cancelled or postponed due to impending weather conditions Tuesday:

Police Board Meeting:
 Due to inclement weather, the Port Washington Police District Board of Commissioners has rescheduled the Jan. 22 meeting for Thursday, Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. at Police District Headquarters, 500 Port Washington Blvd., Port Washington.  

BOE Meeting: Due to the current weather conditions, Tuesday's Port washington Board of Education meeting has been cancelled. The meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 23 at 8:15 a.m., at the Admin Annex, according to the school district.

St. Peter of Alcantara School: There will be an early dismissal at 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday. All after school and evening activities at school are cancelled, including the open school board meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Port Washington Library Movie: The movie A Dangerous Profession scheduled to show at the Port Washington Public Library at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday is expected to be cancelled. The library is expected to close early due to snow.

Port Washington Play Troupe Rehearsal: A rehearsal of the upcoming production of "The Maltese Falcon" scheduled for Tuesday has been rescheduled for Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. in the Local History Room of the Port Washington Public Library.

Port Washington School District: Early dismissal has been announced for Tuesday. Details

North Hempstead: All Project Independence and parks programming scheduled for this afternoon and tomorrowmorning have been cancelled with a delayed opening of 12 p.m. at Tully Park Aquatic Activity Center.

North Hempstead: The Board of Zoning Appeals meeting scheduled for Jan. 22 has been delayed two hours and will now begin at 12 p.m. For BZA meeting related questions please call (516) 869-7667.
