Swing Concert: The New Vintage Swing Band will perform Monday at Mary Jane Davies Park, 201 Plandome Rd. in Manhasset. The 13-piece orchestra will feature music of the 40’s and some current dance hits beginning at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Free Movies in the Park: The PG rated film, Escape from Planet Earth, will run at 8 p.m. at North Hempstead Beach Park on Aug. 18. Admission is free. Guests are advised to bring chairs, parking fees apply. The park is located at 175 West Shore Rd. in Port Washington.
