Jan. 27: More Snow, School Cancelations and A Modified Train Schedule

Another January day, another major snowfall, so stay off the roads if possible. Here's what else you need to know.

1. Thursday morning could see between 10 and 16 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Port Washington Schools are closed.

3. Check www.mta.info for train delays and cancelations.

4. Avoid parking on the street so that plows can clear the roads.

5. If possible, clear fire hydrants near your home or work so that emergency workers can access them in needed.
