Storm Prompts School Opening Delays and Train Cancelation
Winter storm affects morning schedules in Port Washington.
The winter storm will mean school delays and a train cancelation Thursday morning.
The will have a two-hour delay because of weather conditions for all schools and offices on Thursday.
According to the the district's Web site: "School bus transportation for Port Washington students as well as those students attending non-public schools and special education schools out of district will be following a delayed bus schedule."

In addition, the Long Island Rail Road is canceling the 6:17 a.m. from Port Washington and will be combined with 6:27 a.m. from Port Washington. Check www.mta.info for LIRR service updates before traveling.
