Handel's Messiah

On Sunday, December 16th at 4:30 pm the choir of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Port Washington will present its 12th annual performance of Handel's Messiah. A 13 piece orchestra will play, and include soloists: Maria Whisenend, soprano; Deborah Berruete-Fuhrman, mezzo-soprano; David Reck, tenor; and Daniel Klein, bass. St. Stephen's minister of music, Mark van Schenkhof of Port Washington, will conduct the St. Stephen's choir. The church is located off Main Street at Carlton Ave. across fro the Port Washington Library. St. Stephen's extends a warm invitation to join them in sharing the beautiful music of the holiday season. Admission is free but space is limited. Please arrive early to ensure getting a seat.
