Funeral services are scheduled Thursday for Anthony Garofalo
The long-time Port Washington resident died Sunday.
He was the husband of Rosemarie and father of Richard Garofalo, Robert Garofalo, Anne Marie Allen and Joseph Garofalo. He also was a grandfather and great-grandfather.

Active in the community, Anthony Garofalo was the longstanding owner of Anthony’s World of Floors in Port Washington. He devoted himself to many causes, including Cancercare, and its popular Port Washington “Red Stocking Revue,” as reported in Newsday. Read more about his life and volunteer work.
Viewing will be at Austin F. Knowles Inc. Funeral Home in Port Washington on Tuesday, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m., and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

A church service will be held at Our Lady of Fatima in Port Washington, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Nassau Knolls Cemetery.
