PortFest 2013 is Saturday – Rain or Shine
Live music, art demonstrations and the Harlem Shake.
PortFest 2013, the day-long celebration of music, the arts and community, is Saturday. The festivities run from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., rain or shine.
The event is sponsored by HEARTS ("Helping Enrich The Arts"), hat raises money for Port Washington Public Schools
What to expect: live music, including nine local bands, art demonstrations, a silent auction, and an art exhibit featuring 26 local artists.
And everyone is invited to do the Harlem Shake (meet at 2:45 p.m. in front of Stage Three), hosted by Berest Dance Center. Crazy costumes encouraged.
