Port Washington cross country junior Taylor Titcomb and sophomore Sidharth Kakkar are moving on to the state Public High School Athletic Association Boys and Girls Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Lakeside Park in Pawling, N.Y.
Kakkar finished eighth , running the 3.1-mile course in 16 minutes, 13.7 seconds. Titcomb was right behind in ninth place (16:14.8). This will be Titcomb's third state meet and Kakkar's second. They are running Saturday at 11:15 a.m.
