Volunteers Needed for Mock Interview Session at Schreiber High School

Find out how you can help.

Update: This event has been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 4The following was provided by the Schreiber High School Compact Committee.

Which foot is my best foot forward?  Is it alumni or alumnus?  Do I dress up or dress casually?  Should I shake hands even if my palms are sweaty?
Schreiber students have questions about that all-important college interview.

The Schreiber High School Compact Committee is organizing a panel of volunteers who can offer 11th grade students advice and practice on presenting themselves positively for college.  To all the members of the Port community who volunteered in the past and helped to make this forum such a huge success, we cannot thank you enough.  We once again call upon anyone who has experience interviewing for colleges or in the business sector to participate in our mock interview sessions with students on Thursday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m. at Schreiber High School.

If you can help our Schreiber students “ace” their interview, please contact Chris Jenkinson at 384-6014 orchrisq.jenkinson@gmail.com, or contact Lisa Shevrin at 767-9609 or lashevrin@gmail.com. Your advice will make a big difference to our students.
