Port Washington Defeats Great Neck North in Football, 14-11

Athletes wear pink to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Port Washington defeated Great Neck North in football Saturday, with a score of 14-11. The team is now 5-1 in Conference V.

Raising awareness for breast cancer, the football players donned pink socks while the cheerleaders sported pink ribbons, while volunteers sold pink cupcakes for the fans. 

Those who missed the game can catch the video capturing some of the halftime show of the Portettes and Schreiber Marching Band. 

Next up, Port Washington will be at Jericho on Saturday, at 2 p.m.
