State of Town Address; Chinese New Year

State of the Town Address: North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth is expected to speak on topics such as government transparency, customer service, environmental initiatives and town finances at her first State of the Town address Jan. 31 in Port Washington. The public event will take place at 1:15 p.m. at the Clubhouse at Harbor Links, at One Fairway Dr.

Chinese New Year: Acrobat Li Liu performs plate spinning, trick cycling, foot juggling, ribbon dancing and hand balancing at the Port Washington Library on Jan. 31.
