Port Washington Girls Soccer Players Earn Postseason Honors

Michele Lammers named MVP, All-County and All-State.

A host Port Washington girls soccer players were honored recently for their contributions to another succesful year in 2013.

Making it to Nassau's Conference AA2 playoffs, the Vikings 7-2-3 and overall 9-3-3, fell to No. 8 seed, Hicksville by a score of 0-1 in the first round of postseason. play.    

The offense was lead by All-Conference player Emma Cisneros, and All-Class award winners Krista Ledins, Lindsay Edwards and Olivia Fetherston.

Goalie Michele Lammers was named the team's Most Valuable Player, conference Player of the Year, All-County and 3rd team All-State recipient.  

"These girls were all deserving of these awards and contributed to the team's success," said Head Coach Lauren Bishar.
